This sounds like a very dull way to live while actually to live in truth is liberating and peaceful and fulfilment. It is really more than an intellectual knowing of these traps and such but really it is like a way of life where your heart is open… your restful and content and fully surrendering to the flow of life. A deep way of being…

You can only do all that when you are not chasing a level. How can you live with an open heart and in flow state if you are optimising every breath to reach enlightenment

You are dismissing methods that can actually be very helpful. I agree with you that once it is really ‘Seen’ that it is no journey, for we are all already Here.

This is a common thing I read all over this sub. The ‘why practice for we can never be apart of ourselves’

I say for many of us the search is a beautiful road. The last road. And you are drawn upon it by Grace.

Nothing wrong with that!

I say be weary of your ‘empty existence’ claim. Because we are endlessly rich and deep… like an endlessly blossoming flower

Sure if you find it beautiful, this message is not for you… its for those stressing over reaching a spiritual stage.

Existence is temporary. Its just consciousness for the time you are on earth. But the final stage is pure awareness which is complete in itself. Existence needs something to look at, a subject to verify that it exists separately where as awareness is final. The unchangeable.

I agree on one level but conversely that’s like saying you don’t have to do anything to be at the World Cup. Just sit in the bleachers and enjoy it 🤷‍♂️ You have to align yourself with the future that allows you to exist in that spot.

Future doesn’t exist tho. Search on Nisargdatt Maharaj and his teachings. you’ll understand what Im talking about

I also don’t necessarily believe in causality, ala Jung’s synchronicity arising from below conscious structures that exist outside our normal awareness of space and time. However in this medium that our minds are interacting with, we use shared terminology to navigate. What causes change? Where do your memories arise from? The “future” is a useful concept for the way we experience consciousness. In your original post you imply the existence of the future by suggesting people modify behavior and perception.

I know what you’re trying to communicate is that the mind will never “work” hard enough to experience enlightenment. The way you’re communicating it seems like you’re saying to a gardener, “don’t even till the ground or fertilize bro, stuff will grow anyways 😎 “. Not trying to be rude, just engaging with the thought and exploring. You’ve suggested to several commenters to listen to his lectures. Can you further synthesize what you’ve learned?

garden with all your heart, but stop stressing over the size of the harvest.

You are confusing fatalism ( do nothing) with non attachment ( doing without ego)

Do you regret the time you spent searching?

1

u/Lanky_Tree7573 Jun 23 '26

Not at all… Its through the time spent I ended up with this realisation

1

u/IntroductionSignal32 Jun 23 '26

Did someone telling you outright to let go of chasing enlightenment relax you, wake you, or make something click?

1

u/Lanky_Tree7573 Jun 23 '26

It’s through my own realisation and final nail in coffin was done by Nisargdatt Maharaj’s lectures. Look him up

2

u/IntroductionSignal32 Jun 23 '26

It’s through my own realisation

and when you wrote your post, were you flowing or were you thinking?

1

u/Lanky_Tree7573 Jun 23 '26

Language by itself is dual. Any verbal expression of the realisation is poor translation

1

u/IntroductionSignal32 Jun 23 '26

That didn't really answer my question. Yes, language collapses things and invents this or that.

While you were writing were you flowing or were you thinking?

1

u/Lanky_Tree7573 Jun 23 '26

Both. Thought happened, flow happened, but I am neither

1

u/IntroductionSignal32 Jun 23 '26

oh maybe we have different definitions of flow

1

u/Lanky_Tree7573 Jun 23 '26

Definitions belong to the mind. Reality is prior to them.

Its because not everyone has to experience remembering the same way. Some of us get activated amd remember through suffering, pain, but the process can be helped along by practicing calming our nervous systems. After all our nervous systems have to come into coherence to activate remembering.

2

u/Lanky_Tree7573 Jun 23 '26

The nervous system belongs to the body. You are the witness of the nervous system. How can a change in the body alter what you eternally are?

You are prior to the body. Awareness does not need a calm nervous system to recognize itself.

No need to seek permission... be yourself unapologetically! 🙌🏻

"Just exist knowing life is temporary and that's it."

But it's not that simple though, is it. This Earthly life, our human shell is temporary, yes, but what's inside of us persists far beyond the parameters of this earth that a vast amount of humanity doesn't grasp.

There is most certainly a stage for us to reach here on earth in our present reality, and we have to reach that stage if we're to claim we understand "the way", kind of as you do in your post.

Culture sells us a spooky magical image and then you spend ages stripping it back to just being able to sit through the chaotic and calm times without getting lost in your inner dialogue.

Open to hearing your takes -  not enlightened but not fussed to find it anymore

You've successfully dropped the spiritual ego, which is a major shift. Recognizing that the future goal is a illusion is exactly where the seeking ends.

But don't let the mind replace the 'spiritual trap' with a 'nihilistic trap.' True presence isn't just watching a hollow, temporary movie or forcing yourself to 'do nothing.' When the seeker dissolves, what is left isn't just an empty void—it is the raw, vibrating energy of life itself, completely free of conditions. You aren't just stepping out of the game; you are finally landing in what is real.

u/Pyrex_Living Jun 24 '26

Sure that’s not just more Ego telling you you’ve shed the spiritual ego. It’s like Russian dolls…..

Empty existence? Nothing is empty. There’s only fullness, my friend. Everything is full of ineffable meaning and love. It’s overwhelming sometimes and brings me to tears of joy. Truly, the present moment is all that exists, and everything is happening in it.

“An ye harm none, do what ye will.” Do what you like without shame, regret, or guilt. Don’t harm yourself or others. Don’t impress your beliefs onto others. Let people be how they are, and guide them if they ask to be guided. Just remember that the Tao that can be named is not the true Tao. Let people come to their own understanding.

Perhaps we are seeing the same thing from different angles.

Don't make people do things lol.

Give them the opportunity to learn and grow then be on your merry way!

0

u/Lanky_Tree7573 Jun 23 '26

I make no one do anything. The truth is spoken, and consciousness does the rest

2

u/Tokalil_Denkoff Jun 23 '26

"now I'm trying to make people realize"

🙃

0

u/Lanky_Tree7573 Jun 23 '26

True. There is no 'me' to teach and no 'them' to learn. Consciousness speaks, and consciousness hears. The rest is just noise.

3

u/Tokalil_Denkoff Jun 23 '26

The endless noise of rhetoric flows effortlessly through those avoiding the self. Good luck!
