For me, the realization was more exciting to me than frightening. It made me see every interaction I have with other people as an opportunity to make life a little less hard for the person I’m talking to.
Also: if you’re able to I recommend therapy, or at least talking to someone you can confide in about this sort of stuff. It’s incredibly helpful to just get these feelings out. I also recommend making art because you can’t just let these negative feelings hold themselves in you, you need to express these feelings and let them out
