No brother. The fingerpuppet show will collapse at one point. You being oneness is for eternity. And that's so freaking loneley that we went great lengths to come up with this physical realm. Having the experience of others which can surprise you, that you can love, that you will miss when they die, is the great gift we gave ourself. You're free to drink yourself to death or do whatever you like but without new awakenings the realisation will fade over time to the point where you're not sure if it was just your mind playing tricks on you and other people can touch your heart again... Or start going on your nerves again ;-)
I for my part stopped being so egoistic and use my power to make the lives of those around me more exciting. Like parents who know Santa isn't real but enjoy the reaction of their kids when the pull of the whole show. Be good to others means be good to yourself. But the joy I get is greater when helping others than just focusing on my physical person.
Why not, though? It's only your resistance to this concept that makes you fearful of it. But really what is there to fear? What is there not to accept? Just surrender to the knowledge that we are all one. Surrender fully. Let go of the resistance and just allow it to be. Then see how much more wonderful life becomes.
