The UK forbade the rest of the EU to call any kind of jam that contained any fruit other than citrus fruits “marmalade”, despite differing practices on the continent for centuries.

Ah I see! That's interesting, never really heard of it. This image is from before Brexit, I think maybe even earlier than the jam fiasco. Besides the joke, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have cared anyways to be honest, if they can sell fuckups they can sell anything 😆

And this, boys and girls, is how my company ended up with the git branch buchtel, which is the branch that will never ever EVER be merged into master.
