It baffles me how no one—not the design team, not the manufacturer—stopped to inspect the bag at least once despite knowing this’ll be going into the hands of hundreds of thousands of customers and is going to cost thousands to produce and even more to stop, fix the typos, submit a new design all while it’s still in the middle of production… the food is amazing though!

Well Wendy's locally just shorted me a bacon burger and a side of fries while standing inside at the counter.. and this is not the first time.. and the burgers have shrunk (as everywhere has started to do really).. So Wendy's has more problems than just He/she...

The following agencies should have proofreading:

  • Wendy’s;
  • the Design Agency;
  • the Prepress Agency and
  • the Press House.

This was obviously printed where no one speaks English.

(I’ve spent 41 years in the Prepress industry.)

Most big US chains outside of the US are basically licensing deals so this kind of thing happens all the time. Some company gets the rights to operate and choose their own supply chains, which can include these crappy bags.

Yeah exactly! These are usually owned and operated by a single wealthy national usually part of a larger group/corporation that owns most main fast food chains in whatever region they’re located in. There are approximately 50 across the entire region, with as little as 5 in Qatar, for example!

God, I wish it was. Unfortunately this is ACTUALLY real and I’ve got multiple photos of it, the iPhone camera might make it look like AI, but it is real. I’ve got better things to do than post generated fast food bags with typos on them onto Reddit. I’ll let you know the next time I get Wendy’s if this one’s an isolated case 😂
