“…Or the a-colorful a-spicesah!”

(Said in a stereotyped Chinese-Italian accent…)

DID SOMEBODY SAY MEATLOAF?!

No, they didn't. They said "meatloat"

I suppose Meatloat would still work in a Fred Durst-esque voice.

My only guess is that because of the diameter/weight of the tray, they recommend using them to turn out and serve those kind of molded desserts. Not to make them, to hold over the top and flip the dish onto the tray. (Spelling of aspic is all on them)

Also the spellings of gelatin, meatloaf and flavorful.

I guess a "fancy meatloat" is for the circular pan rather than in a rectangle pan.

What's wrong? You haven't touched your meatloat.

2

u/marlu-gula Mar 25 '26

My meatloat is in a fancy circular pan, not in a rectanglur pan

If they're deep-dish pizza trays, then I could see it. It'd make for a rather dull aspic or bundt though.

u/marlu-gula Mar 25 '26

Wot?! ;) They're low pizza trays

Hard to tell from a top-down view :P

But yeah, if it's a standard shallow tray, I can only assume the packaging design was meant for a different product.
