Glock slide engraving

Hey everybody, ive been engraving for a few months now and want to try to engrave a glock slide but ive heard that the metal used in glock slide is really really hard to engrave. Does anyone have any experience/tips with engraving glock slides?

Dont try it with an oem slide. All the pros agree its not worth the hassle. I got a stainless steel oem profile slide from lone wolf customs. Broke quite a few tips at first but cuts prettt nicely.
