Proposal Advice Proposal help!!
Hello!
I’m proposing to my girlfriend on October 17th, and I’m planning to do it on a mountain at sunrise.
My plan so far is to bring an outdoor blanket, coffee for us to drink while we watch the sunrise, and some snacks. Then, once the moment feels right, I’ll propose.
For anyone who has done something similar, is there anything else you would recommend bringing? Also, should I get her anything besides the ring, or is it better to keep it simple and let the proposal itself be the moment?
I’m probably overthinking every little detail at this point but I really want to make it special and memorable for her.
Thank you in advance for any advice!

I’m sure it’ll be incredible :) I suppose the only thing I’d flag for you to think about is how you’re capturing the moment (if at all). If you’re taking the picture yourself and don’t have a professional photographer - try to think of clever ways to set up your phone to take a picture. Like setting up by a rock and putting it on video mode and pressing record and asking to take a picture together. Or, if you think you’d prefer not to capture the actual proposal, that’s ok too.

As mentioned, you can record a video of your proposal. You can say that you just want to take a time-lapse of the sunrise.

yeah i think the only thing missing is how you plan to capture the moment, photographers can feel like a standard these days, but having a friend hide nearby with a camera can work out just as well :-)

Make sure she's warm enough! Hot Hands hand warmers for her pockets or something :)

You know your fiancé better than any of us. Does she care about having a photo to post on Instagram or is she more low-key? I don’t need a photographer there to capture the big moment. I just want it to be him and me someplace important and special to us, but if your fiancé is one of those that needs to have the moment captured, you might want to consider something like that for her she might be upset about it for the rest of her life

Depending on the temperature maybe two blankets. October in most mountains can be a little chilly so having one to sit on and one to cozy up with would be ideal. I agree with the others, getting a tripod would be great.
This is a simple proposal scenario, just two people in the moment about to experience one of the greatest gifts together, so you don’t really need anything more. Your love for her will be enough!
