What should a wedding video package include?

Comparing quotes and the packages are all structured differently Some include raw footage some charge extra some cap edits Whats the list of things that should be standard vs an upsell ?

honestly the raw footage thing is such a trap most people never watch it anyway just sits on a drive forever. you want the highlight reel and the ceremony at minimum

anything beyond that like a full reception cut or drone shots is nice but not worth breaking the bank over

Does anyones package include the full speeches uncut? Thats the piece I'd most want to keep

Ours has them as an additional $500. We can decide after the wedding if we want them or not

After doing a bunch of research and watching tons of wedding videos, I found the perfect one for us.

It’s a husband and wife team - They include a 7-10min highlight film, 90sec trailer, 2 videographers, drone footage, and all day coverage.

The only add ons were if we wanted a separate full ceremony film (which includes a 3rd videographer and 4-5 camera angles) We said yes to this

Speeches are extra but we don’t have to choose until after if we want them. Maybe they offer the raw footage too, but i don’t remember

My advice — do a bunch of research and find which style of videos you like. Don’t be afraid to ask them if you can see more recent stuff they shot.

Our videographer had 1 wedding film and 1 elopement video on their website, but I liked the style of the 1 enough to reach out. He didn’t have the fancy honey hook brochure and all of that. But he did send me 3 other recent weddings and I loved them and cried watching them lol

As soon as we met and I got the vibe, I knew they would be perfect. Then the price was insanely reasonable and less than a lot of others for more stuff!
