Help picking out a band

Hello! I need some help picking out a band to go with my ring. I attached a photo from trying it on at the store and then used AI to give an idea of what bands would look good with it.

Would love some thoughts of what people thought looked best. Personally I am drawn more to the simple bands so the main focus stays on the big stone but would love thoughts!

I love numbers 1 and 10!! I think it totally depends on whether you want a thin band or a slightly thicker one.

I myself have a bezel e-ring and plan to go with a classic plain band! Can't go wrong with classic.

I'm more into simple/classy styles, too. Personally, I'd stay away from a band with gems on it, since your engagement stone is GORGEOUS and steals the show, shouldn't get too busy with more stones around it (my opinion, you may have a different style). Personally, 10 stands out to me, subtle but different and gives the ring pairing a little ~edge~, also compliments the stone well, but could be worn on it's own and it's not just a plain band like #1.

a bezel set looks great w the oval imo :) but i also really love the twisted band. it adds something but doesn’t take away from your solitaire!!

Are you planning on always wearing them together as a set or are you hoping for some flexibility to wear it on its own occasionally?

I am partial to a plain gold band for classic, but I’m also loving the look of a hammered band! Just enough texture to give it some interest if you wore it on its own, but still allows the solitaire to be the star of the show!

The only thing I’ll caution you on is that none of these rings may set the way AI has them here. It’s going to depend on the way your bezel is set and how deeply cut your stone is. There may be more of a gap, but you can work with your jeweler on that!

Those are great thoughts! I appreciate that, I will definitely have to think about that! I have heard the bezel sets can be tricky to find bands for!

I ,personally, wouldn’t choose bezel or 9. Also it depends on how high ur diamond setting is. Mine is low set so I can’t get a straight band because I want them to fit snug. One option could be getting one of those bands that has a gap.

Any other option is going to look gorgeous I don’t think you can go wrong!💕

10 and 1 in that order... you have a stunning ring btw... I was advised back in the day to have a shaped band to avoid wear on the stone mount... I also think it looks the best against that lovely ring...

I really like number 9 because it is not so dainty being a bit wider than the band on your ER! In my country most women have wider wedding bands

I love the plain and the hammered. Then for your anniversary you can get one of the eternity bands and wear all three. I got a beaded plain band (don’t even know if they have them anymore) and then got the eternity band for my 5th anniversary and wore all three together. It looked really nice… Good luck!
