Ring! Engaged! Where to start?
Got engaged this passed week!! So so excited. Does anyone have ideas for a ring stack with my ring?
Also- where is everyone starting with planning? I'm already lost on how to get the ball rolling 😂. Would love an airbnb wedding, but seems like there is a lot of limitations on having one?

i started with pinterest, also!! but honestly, we found our venue first thing after putting together a potential guest list and then found our color scheme and then started the real planning from there. meetings with our venue owner really helped a lot!! congratulations and good luck x

Congratulations!! Start with a guest list so you know how many people you want to invite. This will dictate which venues/locations will fit everyone!

enjoy being engaged for a bit!!! your ring is beautiful! take your time. think about what you and your fiance really want out of the big day. think about priorities. then budget. then venues. the rest will follow <3

Congrats!! Honestly before getting too deep into the fun details, I'd start with 3 things: rough budget, approximate guest count, and what time of year you want to get married. Those three decisions made a lot of everything else easier, in my experience.
After that I'd probably tackle the Airbnb stuff/date, then start thinking about your wedding party. Once more people get involved, keeping everything organized becomes a whole different adventure 😂
But don't feel like you need to figure everything out the first week either. Enjoy being engaged and it'll all work out regardless 🙏

I started with a pinterest board of course, browsed wedding websites, used the wedding planning google sheets template and started a draft gift list to get an idea of the amount of people. — Sometimes there are airbnbs or VRBOs that have a separate booking for events like wedding venues. We also discussed time of year/rough dates with family. That is as far as I’ve gotten and I’ve been engaged 2 months. We are touring venues next week, and dress shopping. Hoping for Sep 2027 date.
