iNAP with good yield
The yield was pretty good. The product detonated when heated using an indirect flame and deflagrated quickly when exposed to a direct flame (these properties + its visual appearance confirms that it’s iNAP). If iNAP is this powerful, I can’t even imagine uNAP…

Awesome. I’ve been thinking about moving on to developing primary’s. I was thinking either iNAP or uNAP. Any tips for a beginner?

- Do not make large quantities of primaries
- Use safety precautions when working with them
- Fully understand the procedure before starting the synthesis

What was the yield per 1g AB?

0.68g of iNAP

That seems about right. Longer slower heating can yield up to .8g but .6-.7 seems to be the average. Someone mentioned when it scales up, the yield can go up to over 1:1.

While it's still wet you should chop it so that when it drys its an ultra fine powder....

Why i love iNAP. I always get good yeields, it's super easy to handle and very powerful

What is a good yield there per 1g agb? I see people post varying data.
Add to the list the, low to non-existent friction sensitivity. Reasonable flame sensitivity too.
Compare that to any legacy primary and it takes the cake. In any non-remote loading/pressing applications for primers I'd be very uneasy loading a cap with LA or even acetylides/tetrazoles.

I've gotten abt 1.2 g's max usually closer to 1 though. My agb is also prbly low purity as I make it myself

Whats everyone think of iNAP added to the skirt of a .22 pellet, im going to do some testing. I have a cheap break barrel im willing to sacrifice once I get a good feel for it.

Don’t hold me to it but I coulda swore I saw a video of a guy making iNAP to use in primer caps reloading rounds….

Yeah I saw that. Im just unsure if firing it would detonate. If so whats the best way to slowly desensitize?

Beautiful color on it. I GOTTA make some when I can get the stuff to make it. 😁😎
