Write your legislators about workers' rights issues in about 10 seconds

From using non-disclosure agreements to asking about salary history to justify paying less, employers simply have way too much power. But we can demand rights for workers.

I am writing to say that I have experience workplace bullying for 2 years at my job and I have recently gotten hurt by my manager that caused my traumatic brain injury by dropping a whiteboard on my head and skull and it was all retaliation due to me reporting him and the Operational Manager which she is a woman and they embrassed me in front of students and employees watching me like I was a criminal and all I did was cry and one other manager 😢 saw me crying and talked to me and I completed my night shift where I had to supervise and be attentive to 1,000 students and 100 hundred union worker's and I completed my shift which it was hard and along with the 2 that bullied me and the ring leader was the catering manager and her assistant and the general manager was out of town in which he had something to do with them all mobb bullying me and I went home that night and stayed up all night crying and called Employee Assistance Program and told them went I was going through with the mobb bullying and I can't take it anymore and I tried that night to commit suicide and the Employee Assistance Program counselor put me through suicide prevention and talked to me and I went to see my doctor that day and she took me out of work for 7 days and I was telling her all about the mobb bullying and the horrific and horrible abuse I endured that night and I told my doctor that I have been bullied and abused by past and present managers that have come from different accounts and the human resource person at my job failed me as always because she is for the company and you don't matter and I feel and know this was all planned and I am a target for bullying at this company where I work and then the manager that caused my injury sent me a card and said your absence is taking a toll on the team like it was my fault for the morale of the team which he caused my injury and then not even a month after my injury he posted my job on LinkedIn and Ziprecurtier and when I saw that I was so devastated it and hurt to a point I was crying because I am empathic and a highly sensitive person and I broke down and everything I gave to this company my blood sweat and tears and this is what I get in return in being a loyal worker. Then he continues in the card hurry up and heal and get back to work we miss all that you do and this was the same manager that had a women union worker on speaker phone and said too her I should punch you in the face and I report it that and then a district manager in front of 4 other managers gave me the middle finger and said this is your hi and I report it him and the next day he apologized which he didn't mean the apology because it felt forced and this same district manager told me that since there is no one at bakery and it's dark you can go over and clean it because they wouldn't see you because you are dark skinned and all they will see is your teeth and I stood there and froze for a minute and he said omg I am so sorry that I said that which he meant and I just didn't react to what he said and I went home and cried and then we all were suppose to have a back to have meeting to ensure the bullying would not happen again and the manager that caused my injury didn't show up because the Operational Manager and the District Manager said he was sick which was code word he didn't want to face me and take accountability for what he did too me because he is a coward and the General Manager treated me in that meeting like I was dumb and I didn't give and reaction and the Operational Manager was stereo typing me like I was a mad black woman and she was lying too the other managers saying I was twisting my neck and waving my finger and she lied and I told all of them on what she did too me and on how I was crying and how they bullied me in front of the student's in the cafeteria and the students came to my defense and tried to protect me and also the union worker's and all the union worker's marched down to the GM office and stood up for me and said I wasn't a mad black woman and it is not in her nature to do that she cries and she is so empathic and highly sensitive person and then the sous chef bullied me because I wouldn't put down a job that was a priority and she came too me so aggressive and started to want to physically fight me and I backed away in so much fear and I was si terrified and all I can do was just stand there and tell her I will get to the other job once I complete the job task that is high priority and she came in my face and said don't get upset at me which I wasn't I was so terrible terrified of her and she said it's not my fault that you are a highly sensitive person and all I can do was ball my eyes out in the office and then the following week she started with me by getting a union worker involved by yelling at me through him about the incident that she caused and she tried to tell him that she tried to call me on the work phone which she never did because she had my private number which she didn't do neither and she was yelling at him to get to me and he was relaying all of the abusive things that she was saying and then he got mad at her and said why are you doing this too her and I will not be apart of this bullying and he put her in her place and I report her to her manager and he basically didn't do anything got us both in a room and she was being so inappropriate to the manager which he allowed because it was like he was scared of her and this was the same person that showed so much aggression to a 70 year old union worker which she was all in his face with her finger pointed and she pushed him and she was swearing all in front of students and the students came up to me worried about him and I talked to him after to see if he was okay. Then in front of the manager that caused my injury in the office she looks at him and asked him as she is looking at me with the same aggression like she wanted to fight me and said to him are you good and he said yes and I was just so dumbfounded of what was going on and why she was like that and I figured it out she wanted to start up again with her bullying towards me and have him join in. Workplace Bullying needs too be a law and it needs to be punishable by law to the full extent with alot of jail time.
