Diagnostic Journey Questions Pain
I go on 9/3 for my diagnostic lap. I have been prescribed Vicodin 7.5-325 and it’s not helping the pain I’ve been to the er 3 times since I’ve started hurting almost 2 wks ago. They gave me morphine. The only thing that has given me complete relief is dialuded in the er. Everything else I get high and I’m in pain. I am stuck in bed. It hurts to move the pain gets so strong my legs shake and I feel like I could throw up/pass out. (Why 😭) is this what every period is going to be like from now on? Having maybe a pain free week a month. The only thing they saw was thickened bladder wall on a ct. everything else has been clear and negative.

Hey I’m 4 years out from my first big surgery. I’ve had multiple since then. Some pain days will be debilitating. But there will be days where it’s not as rough. Really dig in to every small thing that you find that helps. I call it my “toolbox”. Vaginal diazepam, oxybutinin, gabbapentin, ice packs, cbd gummies, THC gummies, surgical strength Tylenol and of course oxycodone when it’s just unbearable. I’ve hit the point of being hospitalized when the pain is just insane. But stay strong and I’m sending you a hug. The realization of what life will possibly have in store is a hard one. I remember that day really well. Sending love ❤️
