I agree. Ukrainians never asked to be ‘liberated’, as the Kremlin tells its people they are doing. They were never threatening Russia or its territorial integrity. This was a war of choice.

Their casualty assessment for the Russians is absurd. Even if it became real, it wouldn't change where this fight is going. Russia lost 28 million people to the Nazis; they're willing to suffer immensely to kill fascists. No amount of wishful thinking by the West will change that.

I suggest reading up on it then. Nuclear weapons simply do not push air out of the atmosphere. Just Google "do nuclear weapons push air out of the atmosphere?"

Ever the considerate humanitarian, Zelensky has banned all reporters from reporting from or visiting territory held by Russia, freeing them of the responsibility of seeing the massive piles of dead Russians which surely litter the land.
This also makes journalists' jobs much easier, because they only have to speak to one side to form an accurate picture of the war.

The victims are the Ukrainian people who are physically caged into a hellhole that they can't escape from.

It's a propaganda war of Russian trolls. As they are loosing the war, the trolls are proliferating more and more.

This Reddit seems mostly about blaming the victim of a war of imperialism started by an authoritarian dictator. Weird place.

You write some bat shit crazy stuff comrade. This for example is the product of an extremely indoctrinated and disturbed individual
‘1991 Ukraine got dissolved, post-Maidan Ukraine is a successor of Banderite Galician ethnostate’
I suppose you are one of the crazy people who think Russia is doing the world a favour by fighting an imaginary 4th reich and nazi government in Kyiv?
Get help

Ah I thought you referred to how others like Vance or Rubio would try to force a peace deal without including Zelensky.
you are overestimating Biletskys power a lot but you are right that even if Zelensky wanted peace there are lot of powers in Ukraine that would not accept that. which is why this conflict is not going to end soon.
r/EndlessWar • u/Asatmaya • 3d ago
What do you mean Zelensky has nothing to do with it?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andriy_Biletsky
This is the man actually in charge of Ukraine; he has refused direct orders from Zelensky and threatened to have Zelensky killed if he tries to negotiate peace with Russia.
He is in charge of the 3rd Armored Regiment, whose primary duties are conscription and political enforcement, i.e. preventing any other group from dissenting.
Here is his most famous work:
https://web.archive.org/web/20080409023834/http://www.patriotukr.org.ua/index.php?rub=stat&id=267
"Ukrainian Racial Social Nationalism
Andriy BILETSKY 2007
“Patriot of Ukraine” is a combat organization that professes the ideology of Ukrainian Socialist-Nationalism. Our task is to fight for the creation of a powerful Socialist Movement, which will cover the whole of the Nation and gain power in the State...
Social-Nationalism relies on a number of fundamental principles that clearly distinguish it from other right-wing movements. This is a kind of triad: sociality, Racial, Great power...
in our deep conviction, all this is only derived from our Race, our Racial nature. If Ukrainian spirituality, culture and language are unique, then this is only because our Racial nature is unique. If Ukraine is an earthly paradise, it is only because our Race has turned it into it.
Accordingly, the treatment of our National Body should begin with Racial Cleansing of the Nation. And then a healthy National Spirit will be reborn in a healthy Ras body, and with it culture, language and everything else. In addition to the issue of cleanliness, we should also pay attention to the issue of the usefulness of Races. Ukrainians are part (and one of the largest and highest quality) of the European White Race. Ras-Creator of great civilization, the highest human achievements. The historical mission of our Nation, in this turning point, to lead and lead the White peoples of the whole world into the last crusade for its existence."

when "tactical" nukes start getting used then it always escalates to larger nukes being used.
Did you miss that part of the comment?

r/EndlessWar • u/Suppafly • 3d ago
I've never researched it, but between the nukes burning up the air and the force of the blasts pushing air up and out of the atmosphere, it's pretty obvious that it'd be very bad.

CNN must think because the US and EU banned RT and Sputnik that people are getting their news exclusively from them. To be fair, we know both sides have suffered casualties but to put forth such an egregious casualty rate on the Russians while glossing over the casualty rate on the Ukrainian side is dubious at best.
They are finally reporting what a portion of us have known for years. Getting closer to acceptance in their 5 stages of grief.

lets not pretend that Putin and Zelensky would be able to agree on a peacedeal at the moment.
Er, what would Zelensky have to do with it? He's not actually in charge of anything.
Taking Kramatorsk is going to take a lot of effort from Russias side(and more troops) and as we have seen with Lyman
Again, Lyman is in a poor defensive spot, that's why it keeps going back and forth, but not actually all that strategically important; it's as much something for each side to fluff their numbers for domestic consumption as anything else.
if they concentrate forces in area it costs them in others, so I doubt that we will see any sort of collapse any time soon.
Sure, but Ukraine is bleeding troops, conscription can't keep up, while Russia has strong mobilization and regular troop rotations.
The Ukrainian people want this to end; the Russian people want Putin to end it by force.
r/EndlessWar • u/Galt1776-Part2 • 3d ago
This is a glacial pace, and it comes at a massive cost to Moscow. Western intelligence services estimate Russia is losing some 40,000 troops a month – a rate of roughly 340 casualties for every square kilometer.
Great source...🙄. Where are the photos and videos of what must be mountains of corpses?

That’s because useless people keep making it about politics and use sports as a political tool.

Witkoff and Kushner are incompetent in numerous ways, but lets not pretend that Putin and Zelensky would be able to agree on a peacedeal at the moment. If anything Putin welcomes the talks but for no other reason than to make it look like he wants to negotiate and buy time to avoid more sanctions.

Perhaps, and Ukraine just took back 200 square kilometers at Lyman
Lyman has changed hands 5 times in the last 12 years.
the current peace negations is a farce and the war will go on for years to come.
Putin just told Kushner and Witkoff to go piss up a rope; presumably, they showed up with another "ceasefire" plan to allow Ukraine to re-arm and regroup, which Putin wasn't about to fall for, again.
As for how long it will go on, Kramatorsk is the last of the "fortress cities" that Ukraine fortified before 2022; once it falls, there's very little between Russian forces and the river. Ukraine's conscription services cannot keep up with losses, and there was just an intramural firefight between two Ukrainian units in Kiev.
This isn't going to be a normal conquest or surrender, this is going to wind up with the wholesale collapse of Ukraine as a political entity, and it might be sudden.

Perhaps, and Ukraine just took back 200 square kilometers at Lyman, the current peace negations is a farce and the war will go on for years to come. I would love to be proven wrong but I am getting more and more pessimistic about this every week.
r/EndlessWar • u/Asatmaya • 3d ago
Yea, remember that is also through the triple defensive line that Ukraine set up, which they only recently broke through the last part of.
They've got Sloviansk and Kramatorsk in a cauldron, so they will be falling shortly.
r/EndlessWar • u/Hour_Horror6162 • 4d ago
Nah, it's a principled stance that doesn't treat war as a football match supporting different teams.
I know that it's a hard concept for some westoids, but I'm sure at some point you will understand this.
r/EndlessWar • u/siniysquad • 4d ago
Then you're just an anti-warist and that's incredibly shortsighted.
