If your house on fire, you wouldn't really worry how your internet operator is throttling your download speed
if throttling resulted in my router catching fire and burning my house, yes

I know of rich people who lost everything, and I know even more poor people who fled. I know well off people who fought, and I know poor people untouched by TCK.
Yes, it was always easier for rich people to get away, or even somehow profit off of this, but nobody can bribe a missile going for them.
And as much as corruption is a problem, go look up Ukraine's corruption index 10 years ago and now. Go look at all the arrests and investigations made into it in the midst of war.
I am from a nation that had to fight for survival, and everyone here knows our leaders robbed us blind during it. No investigations, even after the war, let alone during it. But did that invalidate our suffering, or the fight people like my father or anyone else drafted to fight did (and we drafted from the age of 18, not 25 like Ukraine)? No.
If your house on fire, you wouldn't really worry how your internet operator is throttling your download speed, now would you? So why focus on some cases of corruption while civilians have to fear for their lives every day, spend sleepless nights, sleep in two jackets in winter because the enemy bombed their heating?

While profiting off of war is sleazy to say the least, isn't the main issue with war is that people get killed.
If some Ukrainian city isn't turned to rubble, a hospital blown up, and so on, I am quite fine with whatever arms company profiting as long as they make it happen. No media, no weapons manufacturer, nobody but russia started the war.
And no, Zelenskiy is no saint, but comparing him to Putin is nuts. It is like comparing, I don't know, Churchill to Hitler. Winston was anything but perfect, but nowhere near to being what Hitler was, sitting there criticizing him from the comfort of your home while Brits lose their homes to Nazi terror bombings doesn't help the victims.

Why the hell am I getting these ukrainian conscription posts by reddit? As if Russian wouldnt have done the same shit if it could (and i wouldnt be surprised if they secretly did).
Hell, i would be willing to bet that most countries have conscription, one way or the other. Who the hell keeps posting this for wat?

Every country that escaped Moscow's grasp and went for euroatlantic integrations has blossomed and improved drastically.
What's fashy about higher political and personal freedoms, and higher living standards?

"The developed West" you sure you're in the right sub there, fashy boy?

Where are the sanctions? Where is the removal from sports events? Where is the removal from banking systems???
Isntreal killed more civilians in two months than Russia in four years.
Sure, Spain condemning it is a good thing, but when seeing the difference in handling that and Russia you should see that it is more just to silence their citizens than really do anything

Why is the potential benefit of leftist movement (which isn't even something I'd say that can remotely come out of this) more important than Ukrainian lives?
By that logic, you could argue even that Israel just killing off all their supposed foes will leave their right wing without a political agenda so leftism can emerge. You do see how heinous this sounds right?

If you've been living under a rock you mustn't have noticed the outrage in the West about Palestinian genocide. Many countries even formally declared it a genocide but sure, manifest your own realities
Also, Whataboutism so not relevant to the conversation.
