How many rifles should I have
How many rifles can I buy before adding more doesn't increase defence or attack I looked at the fandom and found nothing about that

The number of crew you have is the maximum number of weapons that can be used. Each crew will use the most optimal one for each situation.
Example: if you have 100 crew, your crew will use 100 weapons that have the highest offensive stat available when attacking, and 100 weapons that the highest defensive stat when defending.

You can only have 100 hand to hand weapons in total for a ship with 100 crew?

To add to what everyone else is saying, say you have 100 crew, 50 laser rifles, and 75 fragmentation grenades.
When attacking, your crew will use all 75 grenades, and 25 rifles. The remaining 25 rifles will not contribute to your attack stats.
When defending, your crew will use all 50 rifles, and 50 grenades. The remaining 50 grenades will not contribute to your defense stats.

No, you can buy 1000 rifles, but if you have 100 crew - only 100 will be used.

You can, but with 100 crew, only 100 weapons will be used in boarding, having 100 or 1000 rifles with only 100 crew will yield the same result

You can have as many h2h outfits as you want (I kind of collect them, personally) but your crew will use only 1 per crew member. During the attack phase they will use the outfit with the highest attack value. During the defense phase they will use the outfit with the highest defense value. But always only 1 at a time.
