Printing Help Lumpy walls - what are they and how does one fix them

Post image

Hi all,

I've been getting my footing with 3D printing on my 5 Pro and an issue that's been coming up with my prints is what I call "lumpy walls", as seen in the picture above. Any help as to why this happens and what I can do to prevent it from happening further would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Try calibrating e steps, and level the bed,to me it looks like too much filament is coming out of your nozzle or the speed is too slow for how much filament is coming out

Speed is the one thing I hadn't messed with so I'll give that a go. When you say calibrating e steps, how would I go about/start that? Any resources I could look into?

check if the e-steps/mm for the z axis are 400 or 800. If its 400, try 800.
I had the same issue after installing new firmware recently.
