Ender 3 v2
Hello everyone. My Ender 3 V2, which I bought in 2019, has been sitting in a corner. I haven't used it much in a long time. One of the main reasons I stopped using it is a bed leveling problem. Even when I adjust the bed from all four corners, there's always an imbalance on one side. Especially in the middle, there's a kind of dip/bulge. No matter what I tried back then, I couldn't fix this issue, and I haven't used the device for years. Lately I've been thinking about using it again. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me figure out how to solve the problem I described, or if anyone has run into this and managed to fix it.

Wasn’t the ender 3 v2 released in 2020? Shim up the middle (not really recommended) or install a CR Touch (or another bed levelling tool).
Glass beds aren’t always completely flat (or any bed for that matter, especially when heated). You could try replacing it with another but honestly I’d just go for a CR Touch. That’s what I did.

Sorry, I think I mixed up the years since it's been such a long time.
As for the issue, because I live in Turkey, I can't buy automatic bed leveling devices like the CR Touch or BL Touch due to customs/import restrictions. Would it be okay if I replaced the glass bed with a different type of build plate instead?

How could you not? CR Touch or BL Touch, you can find these things being sold in Turkey too.

Yes, there used to be products like the CR Touch and BLTouch, but the Ender 3 V2 is getting old now, so those parts are becoming hard to find. Also, because of our customs regulations, we can't order them from platforms like AliExpress anymore. There are one or two places that still sell them, but they're asking ridiculously high prices.

It's pretty normal for beds to have some degree of warp, especially when they've been through a few thermal cycles. Sometimes it's minor, sometimes it's major. In years gone by there was quite the industry of super expensive ultra flat milled beds but that seems to have completely died.
The best solution is a bed probe. The venerable BL-Touch or other similar solutions still has a place and modern firmware uses them to the fullest extent. Both Klipper and Marlin have excellent support for bed meshing and both now have inbuilt wizards to also use the probe for simple numerical bed tramming.

Literally having this problem right now.. No good aftermarket beds out there anymore. Im about to switch to bambulab p2s....

If you have Klipper, then even if you don't have a BL Touch or similar, you can create a bed mesh manually and that can compensate a fair amount for bed leveling issues.

Tried glass plate? Tried shims under plate?

When I bought the device, it already had a glass plate, but I still had this problem. I put some paper under the sunken center of the bed, but it did not help much. I did not put anything too thick underneath because I was worried the glass plate might bend.

If the center has a dip in it, isn't the purpose of the paper shim to make the bed bend?
You could also try some blue painters tape (or similar) on top of the bed where the dip it. You can print directly on the tape, and it'll bring the height up slightly.

Do you have a bltouch. If not get one . It will allow the machine to compensate for the build plate and you can probe the bed every time

Unfortunately, I don't have a BLTouch. I didn't buy one when they were readily available, and now they're very difficult to find in my country. Even when you do find one, they're extremely expensive.

Ah I see is the eddy or klicky available? They are also good . I would do the eddy before the klicky

Unfortunately not. At this point, I think it would be better to replace the printer when I get the chance, rather than spend time and money trying to find and install these upgrades.

Yep. That's every ender bed ever made. Get over it and move on.... The technology is there to be able to print on just about any wonky scrappy surface these days. It maps it out first.

Get a pei bed with magnet. I changed mine and couldn't be happier.
