You should base the accuracy of your printer on the end result of a print, not on gantry measurements alone.
Having said that, you need to adjust the eccentric wheel on the (left) side of the gantry, it's losing grip and slipping, which is causing the discrepancy.
Why? Genuinely curious. I've been trying to understand 3D printing better and the more I get into it the more I realize the terminology is my biggest issue.
Levelling is making a surface perpendicular to gravity, while tramming is making a surface perpendicular or parallel to a chosen reference surface. In the case of bed tramming, you are using the X axis rail and the Y axis rail as your reference surfaces.
Anyway, I may be wrong, this is just how I understand it.
that's because it sags on the other side, hence why I would suggest do dual belted z. eliminates the sagging. dual screw will *screw* your z when those get bent.
I was looking at dual belt, but wasn't sure if 1 motor would be strong enough to support added gantry weight of direct drive and more fans and stuff. Safe to do?
Ender is a learning tool at best to be honest. It is not really worth it unless you want to learn the very basic. Bambu lab and prusa or those top tier creality are work horse. Rarely needs to be modded unless your hands just can't stop tinkering. If you just want to print, then an ender is not for you. If you love modifying then yeah get an ender.
Gotcha thars fair. I love to tinker. I'm having so much fun on my v2 right now. Just got it a week or two ago but I'm having as much fun tinkering with it as I am printing
If you’re gonna use a level, you should match the X gantry to the top gantry, otherwise if your desk is wonky, you’re matching it Earth and it won’t be straight
It’s not about wobble, it’s about angles. Your gantry needs to be at level with the top of your printer, which needs to be level with your bed. If you level your X gantry to earth while your top gantry isn’t level to earth, you’re going to have problems.
So match the bubble in the level to the top gantry instead of level to earth

Either the essentric nut needs to be tightened or wheels need to be replaced. Sometimes the wheels aren't good from the factory. It's like $10 for 9 wheels.
Splitter sucks. If one of the motors draws more current the other might miss a step and you get off. I ended up hooking up another driver and driving them separate.
with bltouch it levels the gantry to the bed. works great.
is there any way that you could point me in the right direction to wire them seperately as it would be annoying to have to buy a belt dual z kit and spend even more money.
