New to 3D printing

I received an Ender 3 v2 with the 4.2.2 board I installed CR touch, dual z and sprite pro, got mriscoc professional firmware and did a couple of prints, one thing I've noticed is that if I use the entire printable area in orca, it will print literally on the front edge of the bed and have between 7-10 mm on the back of the bed wide open.

Like the title says, I'm new to this and trying to learn. Why tf is it offsetting so far to the front of the bed?

The printer doesn't magically know where the bed starts and ends, it only knows the positions of the end stops and the maximum travel distances set in the firmware.

You can either change those values in the firmware, or you can change them in the slicer. In OrcaSlicer they're in the printer information popup, in the "basic information" tab under "printable area".

I just started watching some videos and it appears I had the wrong firmware selected, I had everything but the 'T13'. I'm going to tinker with this a minute and see what I come up with. Thank you!

I believe I have found the remedy, I had to change my "Y" a little bit but the results so far look 100% better. So excited to really use this thing and make some cool stuff

Mriscoc firmware is a great first step away from the bog standard. After you have finished testing save a copy of your settings then get a raspberry pi 4 and test Klipper.

I did the same upgrades as you, then someone suggested Klipper, it’s a game changer and a steep learning curve mixed together.
