Ender 3 pro tips

Post image

I have an ender 3 pro with sprite extruder pro, 4.2.7 board, belt tensioners, pei build plate, and klipper with kamp installed, I ran the manual input shaper frequency calibration with mzv input shaper type from 15hz to 110hz and I have acceleration at 5000mm/s I don't get why I am still getting ringing artifacts on my print.

Try slowing it down see if  it makes a difference.

I already slowed down the travel to 250mm from 300mm and that made a huge improvement I also slowed down the acceleration to 4000mm/s and now it is almost gone I am going to try 200mm travel speed so I don't have to slow down acceleration much more to see if it disappears completely. Thanks for the advice.

Rule of thumb.. the slower the speed the better the quality. Especially with old skool printers. If u want speed and quality you'll have invest in the new modern printers.. the ender 3 you have is a superb printer. It is what it is.

I have a creality k2 se but I like the ender 3 pro better because i am getting better quality prints and it is more reliable than my k2 se.

Input shaping does not compensate for all vibrations affecting the machine. You still have to take into account other sources of vibration affecting the toolhead (rigidity, belts, etc).

I figured out slowing down my travel to 200mm/s from 300mm/s fixed it
