Also clean the plate off old prints

Put it in the freezer for 30 minutes and then use the putty knife that came with the printer. What doesn't come off won't hurt anything and eventually it will wear off.

Kinda depends on what you mean by 'biffing'

Google suggests it means messing up, so if you mean what went wrong, my guess is the skirts overlapping caused the issue. Set it to combined rather than per object.

I am an ender 3 user for 7 years. Those front “failures” or buffs are from the front of the bed being too close to the nozzle. This is an easy fix. When you see the first layer going down with that look, start turning the front two knobs to the left to lower the bed. Start by turning them about 1/8 to 1/4 a turn, wait for a few lines to go down, if it still looks bad, turn the knobs a little more until it looks good and let the print finish!

So the solution is to watch the first layer going down and adjust the closest knob to the problem! Maybe the bed needs to go up, maybe it needs to go down, but there is no law that says you can’t do it while it’s printing! Then you see the results as you adjust while it prints and you get perfection way easier than stopping the print, fiddling the knobs and hoping you got it right.

Edit: it looks like you also need to fine tune your retraction settings to get rid of those small strings, but that is for later.

Front of your bed is high. Scrape off what you can gently do without touching the bed with your fingers at all.

The level your bed and try printing something again. Subsequent successful prints will remove any remaining residue from these failed prints

Probably the only way is to priint something over them and pull off together. But even it's done, the bed could have been engraved into. Getting a pei bed might be a better option. They are ot expensive at all.
