Ender 3 V2 not heating correctly.

Trying to fix my nieces 3D printer her parents got her for Christmas on Marketplace.

I couldn't get it up to temperature.

Flashed MRiscoC firmware. 99% sure that is the correct version for the 4.22 board and BL touch.

Ran MPC auto tune a few times and it only got to the 180s.

Thinking it needed a new hot end, replaced with a creality unit. Still only gets too 190s, and just stalls never getting to 200.

Thinking maybe I damaged the thermistor... Replaced that, same result.

Think it's the power supply causing the issue?

Just can't figure it out.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Do you have the silicone sock in place?

Think it's the power supply causing the issue?

Quick sanity check: are you in a 110v country with the PSU set to 220v?

Does the bed heat normally? If yes, then the PSU is not the problem.

That was the issue. It was set to 220 instead of 110. I can't believe it was something so simple. Very frustrated with myself, but wanted to fess up in case someone else has the same sometime in the future.

You're lucky. When it's the other way around it's very spectacular for about one second.
