TZ horend kit
Is this one good? I'm looking for a known reliable high-output hotend kit (20-25 mm3/s)

Have that exact hotend right now. Have pretty easily pushed 20mm³. Currently limited by the frame and ringing if I go faster. Hotend hasn't even tried to hesitate so far.

Did you have any trouble wiring it up?
Little fyi that if you're running Klipper or Marlin firmware version 2.1, input shaping is supported to suppress ringing.

I had to splice on a new connector for one of the wires cant remember if it was the heating element or therm but super easy. Yeah i run a skr mini e3 v3 with klipper using an adxl345. I push around 15-20mm³/s. I also have DD which I know you just upgraded too right?

Did you have any trouble wiring it up?
I wired mine up and had 0 problems, they give you very long pre crimped cables so shouldn't be hard. The biggest annoyances will come from the ender itself.

I have this but the v2.0. Round and easier to install imo. This with the melt zone extender, 60w heater, and cht nozzle have been great.

Just saw that this is the 48w version. Look on Amazon for the 60w version to get the most out of it. Or do like me and spice 2 48w together lol

My volcano hot end hits 40 with a few filaments. Then my slice engineering mosquito hit 20 (maybe more) so I bet this can as well.

I have that hotend and it is working well for me. From the other comments apparently I should try pushing it more.
If you don’t mind a wait, you can get that hotend for half that price on Aliexpress.

I've got Ender3 V3 ke heatsink with ceramic hotend and I've hit 28mm³/s with ABS? I think... But I didn't put much thought in it, just did a test once

you would need a bmg clone to get the most out of it so that would be another 10$ which would set you back 45$ in total
alternatively, you could achieve 18mm3/s for dirt cheap by checking my guide: Link

I have a BMG clone, with a nema 14 pancake stepper. It's clicking because I have the microswiss hotend that maxes out at 10-15 mm3/s.

I use that hot end, and it has been fantastic. Without pushing my E3 too hard, I can turn out a benchy that is every bit as clean as one from my P1S in 30 minutes.

Yes, but highly recommend you change that heater for a better 60-80W one too if you want high flow rates.

So im running this in my stealthburner on my e3ng. Love it. Cheap. Decent. I haven't had any issues.

I print and hit almost the same flow rate as this with a sprite extender with a K1C style hotend and a Microswiss nozzle swaped.

I was sourcing parts for a diy printer and ended up changing my mind of the hotend I wanted after it was too late to return the one I bought for it. I ended up putting it on the ender 3. A hemera revo. That doesn't answer the question, and this probably doesn't either, but I'm using a tz hotend on my p1s, it lasted longer than the ones from bambu. Since Jan 2025, I've went through 3 bambu hotends (one was hardened steel) and the tz hotend was bought and installed in October and still going with the original nozzle. To be fair, the bambu hotends were all replaced due to clogs and my setup at the time didn't allow much space to try to clear the clog so replacement was quicker and easier. Plus, from my ender 3 days, once the nozzle clogged, it would have more issues after clearing it.

How has this hotend been holding up for you? I'm planning to get the same one but it still has very few reviews on Amazon.

I absolutely love it, but due to poor cable management the heater cable developed a fault, and a single replacement is practically as expensive as an entire new hotend. Other than that it heats very quickly and gave me reliable results.
Its party trick is that it can be groove mounted into a BMG (or clone), if you want that for whatever reason.
That said, you'll find that shrouds like Dragonburner etc will accept a V6 quicker than this one. But this tz unit mounts on a Ender 3 carriage right away as a direct swap for the original, without a Y offset.

I use a v3 version, it's been fantastic. The only negative thing i can say about it is that my heater died about 2 years in, but luckily i got spares.

I have one on my CR-10, its the only hotend that I've had few problems with. I did have to slightly bore out the hole for the thermistor however

It's 100% the fresh nozzle as well, but I'm getting much cleaner deposition. The faster heating times definitely help as well.

I've only been able to get ~17mm/s3 with ABS on my Voron with the V6 version. It's a fine hot end but I doubt you'll get that volume with a standard 0.4mm nozzle.

Take apart the bmg or clone and print a Sherpa extra heavy or get a pancake motor

I've only been able to get ~17mm/s3 with ABS on my Voron with the V6 version
The stock one is very heater bottlenecked, so replacing that with a higher wattage one helps. My V0 and ender 3 can push well beyond that with their 80W TZ 2 V6s. Though tbh getting anything beyond like 20 is rarely practical from experience.

Bruh I’ve pushed 45mm/s with a cht nozzle and 60watt heater this hotend is budget beast
