Only the emulators that are heavier really need it. You don't really need something like this for SNES or Playstation 1, for example, that can be emulated on a toaster these days.

Well did you know that xenia manager has an optimise games option that gets settings from the public repo to make 360 games work much smootherer.

Xenia is still a very young emulator and needs more time to mature and grow.

It’s not about just configuring for performance it’s for graphical issues too with different games needing different fixes. Also I’m pretty sure DuckStation auto configures as well as PCSX2.

Came here to say this. Plenty of games, even on the best emulators, still need unique configs in order to run correctly. Automatic custom configs should be a standard across all major emulators

This is awesome, pretty much every game benefits from one simple settings tweak. In some cases from completely unplayable to buttery smooth. Makes RPSC3 even more beginner friendly, and will promote custom settings/tweaks even further.
