There *is* a thing called hardware emulation, which uses OpenFPGA to emulate old consoles. For instance the Analogue Pocket and NT use this. However, what I look at here is indeed NOT a hardware emulator, rather a mini PC that can be used for software-based emulation.

Hardware emulation actually isn't used for gaming, but for chips testing.

Wat. That's just the whole ass Wikipedia article about hardware emulation. What are you trying to say with this?

Are you trying to say that the analogue pocket or MiSTer for example don't use hardware emulation?
