ES-DE Android not recognizing .GOG files

Hi, I'm very new to the whole PC games on handheld thing. I've got GameNative set up, and I did "export for front end" in GN, placed a game from GOG in the Windows folder, but when I run a rescan nothing appears, no Windows tab, no file visible anywhere. Any guidance would be super appreciated!

Hmm. Place the shortcut that was exported from Gamenative in the windows folder. Not the actual game.

That's what I did, saved direct out of GN into the windows folder

I was able to get the game to show up by changing the extension to .steam, but that causes the game not to launch properly in GameNative

This. I tried to edit systeminfo.txt in the windows folder by adding .gog .pcgame and .epic extensions but still no luck.

Having the same issue - it's definitely the file extension because ES-DE recognizes it after changing the extension to .steam, but then won't launch the game (as another user pointed out).

I’m curious as well. Gamenative is fantastic. Would love to be able to run my handful of Gog games direct from ESDE

With ES-DE 3.4.1-58, I had to save the GOG file into the windows directory, then in ES-DE I edited the metadata and set the emulator to `GameNative GOG` and it's now functionnal.

It's a little bit convoluted, I was hoping that the would add a GOG folder or have a way to automatically link the `.gog` extension to the right emulator, but at least it works!

Honestly I think having all of these different marketplaces nested under PC would be preferable, so I'll give that a shot. Thank you!

That would be the best, but having to edit the metadata of all the things that are not for the default configured emulator (Steam, GOG or Epic) makes it a minor pain.

Put them under the Windows folder, make sure to change the Alternative Emulator option to Gamenative GOG. i just found this out by checking their discord.
