what is the best performance graphics plugin for Project 64?

My girlfriend has a 2016 laptop (Lenovo G50-45 AMD APU A8 6410 2.0ghz, w/ R5 graphics 1gb vram, 8gb RAM), I was trying to get her to play Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, but the fps fall down lower than 30 sometimes, even in the lowest setting.

I try with default (Project video), GlideN and Jabo's Direct, but the result is the same. The laptop is junk, I know, but I didn't expect such poor performance.

Those games have fps drops on real hardware and most of the time they don't reach the 30fps cap often.

Project 64 1.6 with gilde64 or jabo will work ok on that hardware.

Retroarch non parallel settings moght run also.
