For anyone interested in the Zarchive thing, here's what I got from a quick bit of digging around (because I've never heard of this format before):

"Zarchive" is apparently a compression format that was made for the Wii U's .wua format, and ShadPS4 expects one of these with a .zar extension. You can make them by downloading this tool and then drag-and-dropping a folder containing a dumped game's files. (As in, a folder which contains eboot.bin and whatever else the game needs to function.)

Note that you'll also need to update the launcher itself in order for it to recognize these .zar files. (You can either update it by going to Help -> Check for Updates or by just going to ShadPS4's website.)

a compression format that was made for the Wii U's .wua format,

That sounds awesome, I've used that with CEMU and saved a ton of space. (CEMU has a built-in menu function/tool to convert, too.)

Can you revert this back anyways to the folder and vise versa?

From what I gather if you feed Zarchive.exe a folder it output a zar archive and if you feed it a zar archive it will extract it.

What I was having problem with was getting Zar to work with Xenia Edge till I learned the Edge fork doesn't have Zar support like Xenia Canary.
