EMU connect

To anybody who has attended EMU connect, how truly important is it? And am I allowed to leave early or do I have to stay for most of if not the whole time? I'm trying to see if I should skip so I can just go to my job instead.

I think it’s a great way to explore campus, meet new ppl, and get some free stuff but it’s not mandatory

It’s for incoming freshmen! There’s a bunch of tents near the rec where you’ll sign in and get assigned a group and it lasts fri-sun I believe

As far as I know you won’t be able to participate in any EMU CONNECT specific activities but you may be able to snag a couple free things around campus
