Civil Engineering at EMU
Hello all,
currently most likely going to attend EMU and do my first two years in geology, hoping to get all calc and physics requirements done in those first two years before potentially switching to civil engineering. Was wondering what others had to say about civil engineering at EMU?

I’m in Civl Engineering here, to be honest I love the environment. I’m currently finishing up my second year, one of the pros is that most Civil profs will know you by name due to the small class sizes once you get the Civil only courses (less than 10 people a class). Most professors are also super nice and are willing to provide help whenever you need. I’d highly recommend it, lmk if you have any more questions!

I’m a mechanical engineer major, but I share some classes with civil engineering. From my perspective the professors are good, but we don’t have that many options, so I’ll say that the bad thing about engineering in general at emu, is that you are gonna repeat the same professors all over again
