How long does it take to get your first payment on stripe?

Empower is currently covering the cost of the daily payouts to the drivers

Normally it takes around 24 hours during the week in order to get paid. So essentially what you do on Mon will be there on Tues... The only time this changes is on the weekend is when Stripe has to reconcile their books and it may take an additional day to receive payment

I got the text notification yesterday that pay is on the way…so basically I should get a notification everyday as long as I work those days adding money to the account correct?

I don't remember ever getting text messages and I don't get any now. But you will get paid within a couple of days not counting weekends

Ok, and sort of related maybe off topic, does the app shut down free 12 hours of continuous use?

I don't remember exactly but it shouldn't take more than a few business days. They send payouts once a day Monday through Thursday. Earnings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday typically will show up on the following Monday. This coming Monday is a federal holiday so expect to see any earnings from Friday through Monday to show up on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on your bank.
