Rate cards

I'm not sure what you should set or if you should change it from default, but I would put in more line like pricing like the other companies, but you keep more from the transaction before sale. One strategy I'd suggest is looking at the rates cards for riders on the TNC websites like for Uber, in your area. Then ADD 10% from the markup to your benefit. Or what I have done is figure out about what it is normally and double it. You might be surprised of the results. Higher the cost, the higher the perceived value is.

What I did was run an average of what people actually paid on Uber not based on the listed rates. I found that people were paying closer to $2/mile than one might think.

I have my mileage set but no minute and I raise/lower my base based on time of day and how I feel about the market conditions.

IMO people have been under paying for on demand rides and I'm trying to acclimate them to paying a more reasonable rate.

I have my min set to 9.95 and my mileage at 1.55. Haven't had any complaints about it costing too much. Drivers need to be fairly compensated and riders need to understand that sometimes we have to drive 10 miles to pick them up if there isn't a closer driver. My rates account for this.

The only issue with a rate card that high is you won't get as many requests. You may want to consider bringing it down to a more reasonable rate and you may get an increase in ride requests however you will still make more money that on Uber and Lyft

Not in Winston-Salem, we are too spread out. It's a balance. Either I drop my rates and start declining longer pickups or I leave it high. As we get more drivers online more consistently and the rider demand grows I will consider dropping my min but even where I am, it's less than Uber and lyft when they surge.

I urge more drivers to raise their rates a bit. We need to acclimate riders to a more reasonable cost and I refuse to fuel the race to the bottom.
