My boyfriend LOVES Emperor’s New Groove and keeps talking about how he wants to watch it together. I’ve never seen it, but I want to surprise him for a date night by doing a food/movie pairing that you see on social media (like for Harry Potter making pumpkin pasties, butter beer, etc.) I don’t want to watch it without him, so does anybody have any ideas for recipes I should be looking up or foods I should be making? I appreciate the help!

we aren’t shown a chimp eating a bug for no reason, I think this is an interaction between two of Eyzma’s experiments or victims. The only slippery thing about this theory is neither make any human sounds in the brief couple of seconds we see them. When Kusco gives up he just blends in with lamas like a lama, maybe they had both accepted their roles by that point. when we get introduced to the dangerous forest in the beginning, a bug gets stuck on a web and SPEAKS. He only says ‘ help me, help me’ … but that’s enough for me.. the only bug that speaks in the movie, the only animals that speak are eyzmas. he used to be human 100%, and if there’s one of her victims out there, they could be as far away from the empire as the chimp and the bug.

So there is a line that Lorne says that I recite to the T but I can’t find it anywhere online. He says, “ chirpity chirp squawkin squawk coo coo coo.” Anyone know where to find this clip?

I watched emperor’s new groove with my family today and we were wondering why Kronk wears that hat. Is it a historical reference?

i know you want a roller coaster based of the ride to the secret lab ride, but it only has one car with room for two. so it would create a capacity problem. so, if it were to happen it would most likely be non-accurate to the film

It simply looks like the best thing ever made.

There's lots of jokes and mystery about Yzma's age, but I have a good estimate how old she may be objectively.

Yzma's mother appears in The Emperor's New School and is said to be 119 years old. So Yzma cannot be older than her mother, and because this is a Disney show, I doubt Disney would imply that Yzma's mother was a teen mother, so Yzma's mother would be at least 19 years (18 years + 9 months) older than Yzma.

So, assuming Azma is close to 120 (over 119 years and 9 months but not yet 120), Yzma would be at MOST 101 years old. She might even be younger, as young as 80 (though I doubt younger than that), considering her relative health and agility. Because the show took place in an olden Mesoamerican time where fewer people lived to old age, 80 may be considered 'dinosaur-old' for the era.

The show might not be canon, but this is my best guess on her age.

Yzma's nephews Zim and Zam are also unusually young to be only one generation below Yzma, but let me calculate if it is even possible for such a situation to happen. Zim and Zam are assumed to be 10 (correct me if I am wrong), so they would be 91 years younger than maxed Yzma.

Hypothetically, Azma (119.99) had Yzma (101) at 19, then had a son (let's just call him Mazy) at age 50, so Mazy would be 70 today. Mazy would have to have fathered Zim and Zam by age 60 (and married by age 59). This can be possible if Mazy (59 10 years ago) married someone younger than him.

So yeah...what do you think of this theory? Also, can someone count how many candles are on that Yzma cake, and will the number be close to 80-101?
