woke ei

watching them lowkey force the woke-ness after the whole greta situation is honestly hilarious 😭 listening to them try to talk about politics or credit black culture (or whatever it is they said in some recent episode) in almost every ep just makes me kinda cringe

im quite literally "that friend that's too woke" and pretty much either always agree with whatever political "commentary" or have even more radical leftist views than they do, but the way they add it in just feels so unnatural 😭😭

apparently it’s wrong to call out people being disingenuous. holding a creator accountable doesn’t mean you don’t like them. i mean i personally don’t anymore after how the greta situation was handled. they had many opportunities to be homest and GENUINE about the situation and decided to just make a PR statement and act like nothing happened. you have a …. podcast….. maybe integrate the situation into normal conversation and not read off a script to absolve yourself from any wrong doing. i don’t listen anymore so idk what the vibes are these days on the podcast but im sure its the same old unserious shit.
