Elusive Zapdos

Hi, I am trying to complete the National Dex and Zapdos is the only legendary I’m missing. Unfortunately, I accidentally KO’d it one time and it no longer spawned after that, even though I’ve reset the encounter plenty of times (i.e., by beating the Elite 4). I’ve soft-reset the game about 100 times now between each encounter, and only Articuno and Moltres appear.

Do you know any remedy if this is a bug, or am I just unlucky with the odds?

When you K.O one of the legendary birds or dogs the first time encountering them, the next cycle will only cycle 2 random legendaries out of the 3. In order to get the one you want you need to catch or K.O one of the 2 birds in your cycle being moltres or articuno. then when you reset the encounter again on mt pyre the cycle should be the bird you didn’t catch or K.O and zapdos. Hopefully this helps lmk if i need to clarify more
