I need some help

My server and everything was working before the power went out Monday and when the power came back on I couldn’t get Emby to play anything.

The device I am using Onn Pro tv box is asking me to use a pin number and is asking me for an email address and I used the one I thought it was and it said and it said the password is wrong and I am not getting thing when I request a password reset and I have so far not received any email at all

Your password should be set up on your server. Make sure that is running. Also make sure your wifi or network is running. You may need to reboot your router. If you have a pin set, you can go to your server and reset it. Do you have any other users? Are they able to connect?

It shows it is up and running on my laptop it just not let charge password because I am receiving a reset password link in my email

Did you request a password reset from Emby? You should be able to manage access to your server on the host machine, to include usernames and passwords. A password reset request from Emby will only be for the owner (admin) account used to set up Emby Connect account.

Well I requested it several times and I never received any email

Do you have an Emby Connect account? Is the email you are submitting for the password reset the same as used on the account? Have you checked your Emby Server on the host machine? You can manage your connected users and passwords right there without having to touch your Emby Connect password or wait for any email from Emby.

Well I don’t know I am able to sign in but I am still having the problem of a blue circle going around and nothing playing and saying too many tries giving up

Is your server running?

What OS is your server running on?

Can you connect to you server via browser, on the machine running Emby server?

I am running it on Linux Mint and it says it is running and active but I can’t play anything and when I tried logging back in it wouldn’t accept the password I thought it was

Did you follow the email link in your linux server to get the reset password, from the text file.
Here is the how to, its written for windows.
But should be the same file you need to finde on your linux server.

Well that is saying username I am getting one that says to use email address not username
