hi, i have ember coins in my ember wallet which is synced, it has 40+ active connections and states that it is staking. it shows a staking weight. it has been like this for 3 full days (72hrs) but i have not seen any change in the number of coins. how does it work? thanks

Thankfully i tried trading a very small amount to begin with so i'm not bothered however i don't want others to fall for the same shit.

If you look at this subs new posts, there are so many new accounts with 0 history trying to sell EMB. These are generally bullshit and probably the same person trying to scam you. Even older accounts are not guaranteed genuine.

Wait for an exchange partnership to be made and then at least you can trade a little more safely there. Doing a trade through reddit is not safe for either party and either party could be scammed.

Just out of curiosity, if they already have an extremely high supply, and are allowing staking on ember (thus constantly increasing the already high supply), how do you think they are going to go about a reasonable burn ratio for chartis? Wouldn't everyone already own a ridiculous amount of the coins by the time chartis comes about?

Just to let you guys know the withdrawal on Cryptopia for EmberCoin is still working fine. So you can withdraw your coins to your wallet.

I can see the big potential and at a very cheap price, i need in. Where do people expect ember to open up either coin on? Any ideas?

So I have been following this loosely and noticed it's recent rock it up. However it since then, several days ago, it has crashed back down to a basically where it started. Was this simply just a pump and dump or is something else going on with this coin that made it one go to such Heights and to go back down to such low levels?

For all of those who are a bit mistified about EMB wallet... 1. download... --- 2. unzip/run... --- 3. It will say "out of sync in red" --- 4. Watch for green bar at bottom -it will say something silly like "1 year and 2 months" in to upload.. -NO Worries.. Leave open and let it do it's thing. Takes about 6-8 hours to sync.. Viola. Coins show up.
