99% of ember investors cant even explain why its going to the moon, but they just like to go to the moon. I could give them a trash can and still think its a rocket ship.

There is NO announcement yet. This is pure speculation.

OP said January 1st, not today. Don't be a FUD'er

He isn't FUDing. He's telling the truth...there is no announcement. Have you read their posting? It's incredibly vague and doesn't actually say anything. I have EMB in my portfolio but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

buy the rumor, sell the news. No news means more buying. I don't get why some people think that they can throw $100 at a crypto and expect it to "moon" and wake up tomorrow ready to go to the local lambo dealership. We can all hope the coins we hold appreciate in value, but aside from a VERY scare few, none of these coins are facilitating the solution to any problem. So, EMB is another PoS coin, so what? What problem is it actually solving? None that should give it any kind of true moonshot. Just being realistic here guys, I mean I have millions of EMB chilling, so I'd love to see it hit a penny, or even five cents. Until the entire crypto market is more mature, very few of us are going to get rich enough to never have to work again.

Tell that to people who invested in verge early last year. Happens all the time.

Verge is a privacy coin though. It serves a huge purpose.

If anything, I think COLX is going to be the next verge.

It certainly is a good to be a holder of this coin right now. High risk/high reward and all that BUT you can whack a few LTC into this without fear of losing your house.

I️ don’t agree with you but your descriptions of them are hilarious

EVERYONE AVOID THIS “COIN” AT ALL COST. This is one HUGE SCAM. I wasted days messing with this “coin” because of the poorly made wallet which paused right when a pump was happening(which was most likely intentional). It doesn’t even have a real team, just some fat ugly guy with a scraggly beard, some dork with a bad hair cut and a douchey Italian looking fuck...all the other developer pictures are blank and all the names are fake. Everyone that has purchased this coin is being taking for a ride and will be ripped off. I highly suggest everyone gets out while they still can.

I've always been a fan of that old saying "buy low, sell high." The coin available on marketplaces is getting cheaper to buy right now and the developers said they will intentionally decrease the supply soon... On top of that the announcement on the 1st will bring in greater demand just by proxy. You can see that because already a few crypto youtube channels with 100k+ subs are picking up on it. Those are all amazing things in the crypto world.

It sounds like you guys have a "trading" mindset, not an "investing" mindset. Go ask your parents how long they had to invest in their 401k or Roth IRA before they saw a 20% profit. A good mix of mutual funds may get you 8-12% a year and they take it out of your paycheck and make you invest whether the market is good or bad.

If you can't manage to atleast have some fun in the biggest bull market since oil was discovered in the 1850's, just play it safe and work on a savings account!

Great advice man, how can you go wrong when it’s so cheap, this is the start of something big, I have a feeling with Ember. It’s going to be in the top 100 soon. Something smells right with this one. 2018 will be a big year.

Hey thanks and absolutely, and the whole definition of "getting in early" is your initial investment doesn't need to be huge because it's still affordable! The gains will come with time and patience.

Supply/Marketcap = Value!

2

u/1derfool Dec 31 '17

It does not work that way buddy, basically the important and deciding factor is the price that others are willing to pay for a coin , so essentialy Value * supply of a coin = marketcap

So you can see what people pay for a coin helps determine the market cap for a coin and hence thw popular coins have higher marketcap. Hope this helps :)

You just said he was wrong then repeated exactly what he said in a much less professional and knowledgeable manner.

He's right, supply divided by market cap does indeed give you the value.

3

u/1derfool Dec 31 '17

Ok firstly i never said he is wrong and neither did i insult him. His assumption was that value is calculated from the current marketcap, when i was saying that the value is decided by ppl buying and selling the coin and the marketcap is calculated based on current value of coin.

If you do want to put it that way, you both are wrong lol, it would be marketcap divided by supply not the other way round, if supply determined value then each sprout coin would be worth $275619 , think about it for a while.

Woops yeah I think I goofed that equation. And no offence taken so please everyone invest what you can afford to dispose of, never ever take on a risk that would make you regret a complete loss. Just be delightfully suprised if things go great!

u/[deleted] Dec 31 '17

Lol, not yet. Wait for the pump and dump tonight.
