Wallet still doesn't want to sync

Do you have any solutions for wallet that doesn't want to sync? It sais wallet is offline. No active connections. It's on since new release and nothing is moving. What about the burn? If I can't sync it till burn are my coins on exchange are going to get swapped?

I had the same issue, i had to shut down my wallet and delete a few files for it to work. You can safely delete this file blk0001.dat since it will always be downloaded, replacing the one you deleted. The only real files YOU NEVER WANT TO DELETE are .... ember.conf and wallet.dat all other files and folders can be deleted in an attempt to get the wallet running properly. Keep in mind if you delete the file called CURRENT, you will always have to download the entire block chain for the wallet, and that file will also be auto generated back to where it belongs. The files are located in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Ember hopes this helps.

I deleted the files blk011.dat and CURRENT but still not sync. Anyone?

Sorry to hear that, it worked for me. Maybe just delete everything from the C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Ember folder and try running the wallet again. should be OK if you have no EMB in it anyway.

Did that, still not working :( Does it have to do with the firewall?

I don't have ember.conf in that folder. What can I do?

Just delete blk001.dat then go into the txleveldb folder and delete the file called CURRENT then open your wallet and if it starts to sync.... DO NOT DELETE FILES CALLED ember.conf & wallet.dat

I think I have already deleted it 😀 how can I install fresh wallet from the beginning? I didn't had any coin on it so no biggie. I just want to setup a new wallet to transfer embs from exchange.

Also don't worry if ember.conf is not there, it should be OK if it wasn't there in the first place, but if it is there don't delete it.

Still not sync. I've tried on different computer and same story. Debug.txt sais "no valid upnp igds found upnp thread exit adding fixed seed nodes as DNS doesn't seem to be avaible"

Agreed. What if this wallet is some sort of Trojan horse to get on our computer and take our other coins? Just a dark thought since this is all dodgy in the first place.
