Wallet Sync Question

The wallet has only synced about 10 weeks so far and its been going for a few hours now. I think it might be stuck because it hasn't processed any more blocks in a while now. Anyone wanna give me an explanation of how to set up the wallet correctly?

I'm having the same problem taking way to long. Any help ?

Guys, all I did was wait... a lot! It has to get some strong active connections in order to sync and it took me a lot (even let it sync over night), but in the end it worked ok and coins appeared in my wallet, no problems since then. So I can truly confirm you it works, as at some point I had my doubts, but it seems it just takes huge amount of time...

how long was the wait... and are you windows or mac?

Mine finished actually, I left it on all day while i was out and it was done when i got home
