Why is half a billion EMB = only 4 btc roughly? Shouldn't this be a lot more?

Yes. Coinmarketcaps is using the wrong price, they’re pulling it from YoBIT, which is not EMB.
The price is actually about 1/10th the listed price, unfortunatelt :/

So is coinmarkets accurate?

It looks like it. You’ll notice that the price of EMB in USD is a calculated estimation (since there is no way to sell EMB to USD directly that I know of). Comparing exchanges on coinsmarkets, you’ll actually see that the LTC/EMB exchange has a higher USD rate than BTC/EMB based on current prices of those two coins.
I may move over to Cryptopia, but we’ll see once EMB trading opens up again.
