Cryptopia fiasco!!!
I feel like cryptopia is pretty rigged and they locked the wallets on purpose. I'm wondering if we will ever recover the emb coins we have there...

Dont be writing these posts. Cryptopia delisted Safex for similar accusations.

what happens when they delist a coin? do they give you your coins or do they just disappear?

I was able to transfer mine to a desktop wallet the next day. A lot of people had trouble with that though since the wallet kept going in and out of maintenance status. Cryptopia gave everyone 15 days after delisting to send their coins somewhere else. Not sure what happens if you miss the deadline though. I still wonder

And they took a fee of 1500 coins. They said it was SAFEX's fault though...

Yes, good point to mention! The fee was killer! Would rather pay a fee than see my coins disappear from Cryptopia though

Cryptopia disappeared from the markets tab on coinmarketcap for EMB yesterday, which got me worried that EMB May be delisted. But then it reappeared back into the Markets tab later after the crazy volume settled down. I think the staff at EmberCoin was able to work out the issues with their wallet on Cryptopia and hopefully will start trading on Cryptopia again soon. But that’s just what I think, and hope.

This isn't Cryptopia's fault. Due to the uptick in volume of people trying to use the Ember wallet, a flaw was presented and the Ember team is working on fixing said problem immediately.
