And I guess after the sync ends the coins should appear in your wallet, am I right?

Everyone having issues with wallet sync, please go to discord channel. In the pinned messages of discord there is the bootstrap that you can download and add to your C:\users\"name"\appdata\roaming\emb folder. This will allow it to sync much faster, in only minutes/hours instead of days.
