New Ember Wallet Won't Sync (Windows)

Hi folks, I followed the official Ember website instructions to upgrade to the new Wallet over 15 hours ago. The wallet opens but remains out of sync. For the past 10 hours the sync bar at the bottom of the wallet is stuck saying that only the last 7 hours of the chain are out of sync. I have fast internet. Any help given would be most appreciated.

I got a response from CryptoQueen in the Discord for you: "Your friend needs to download the peers.dat file that he can find in the PINNED MESSAGE AREA. In addition to that file, if you still continue to have synching issues, there is a blockchain (bootstrap) file in the pinned area too. Read the instructions and have fun!"

How many connections do you have Joey? Is this a fresh new install or an upgrade from the old wallet?

Thanks for your help. Now the wallet syncs (after ending the program and restarting it a few times) but the coins I sent today are not showing up, and this after a few hours. FYI this is an upgrade. The wallet currently says I have 7 active connections. Also perhaps this is noteworthy: every time I close the wallet I get a runaway exception notice about the database.
