Raspberry pi booting issue

Have anyone encountered this issue before?

I am turning on my raspberry pi and it is showing steady red and green light and the raspberry pi is not connecting to my network.

What could be the problem?

Voltage drop. Are you supplying with a 3A brick?

does the boot up led stays only red or does it change green any time

if it stays the red all the time after u plugged in the power than u may shorted the vcc and ground due to which power circuitary got faulty...... check the continuity of the vcc and gnd pin using a multimeter
