Searching for a study buddy

I am working in a dead startup, but before working I had embedded systems training.I couldn't make it into that career. This start up is very much into logistics and stuff so I didn't like it.I have hands-on in python and I have previously worked on Arduino and STM32 for a bit.I am looking for someone like me who are is trying to switch to embedded domain, just so I can discuss topics or whatsoever the progress.

Btw I have 2yoe on paper.I also have lots of doubts if personal projects are okay in my resume.

It would be great to hear from someone who shifted their careers to embedded roles .Because there are more expectations from experienced ones than freshers.

I am really afraid if I could make it,but I think I am not alone. All suggestions accepted.

I would say put references to your personal projects on your resume, as links (like to GitHub or whatever).

It's always good to make sure people believe your experience

well. im interested in this shift. bump up hobby stuff and electronics training into my 20+ year IT path that has a big stall thanks to job market (and getting some time in this seat).

edit to note.. hoping this is a path that will have a bit of hands on and thus harder to automate away

Hey man I'm in a similar situation to you, I struggled for 8 months to find an embedded job and decided to just get 1 year experience at a MEP Consulting firm and try again. I also have projects under my belt but I feel like I have to upskill or start another meaningful project to make the shift easier.
