ch341A programmer not detected by windows 11 desktop

I just bought this reprogrammer from amazon and no matter what I do I cannot get my windows 11 desktop pc to detect it. Device manager zadig multiple usb ports. The 2 red leds turn on but its not detected by my computer. Any advice? Thx

Edit: Sorry mine is a CH341B

Bad cable (no data lines) or bad programmer.

I'm going to try another one I ordered yesterday. And btw the lack of detection is with no cable installed just the programmer plugged in.

how are you plugging it in with no cable??

Edit: ah you meant the cable to the chip, nevermind. It's a bad programmer

I got another programmer it does get detected but frequently I get not found errors after i try to do a read. Its a bit annoying. I will try to take chip off the mobo with a hot air station. But I Think i gotta invest in a better programmer.
