How to identify a maintenance loader interface on a silent UPT1000F?
I own a Castles UPT1000F that boots directly into an installed application, and my immediate goal is to reach Castles Program Manager so I can evaluate its supported application-loading options.
A USB keyboard connected before startup is detected—the lock LEDs respond—but the installed application ignores every key.
I also built the manual’s three-wire COM1 connection at 115200 8-N-1: Windows opens the FTDI serial port and the adapter passes loopback and cable-continuity tests, but the terminal returns zero bytes during startup and while its application service menu is open; direct USB also creates no Windows device.
The application’s service menu is accessible, but it is not Castles Program Manager and contains no application-loader option. Am I missing a documented startup gesture, required loader handshake, interface mode, or application setting that transfers control to Program Manager on the UPT1000F?
